Gatekeeper Resolutions Day 1: "What Exactly Do I Want To Improve In My Game?"
Day 1! It’s January first, and we’re going to start with a thought exercise for our New Year’s Resolutions. Disc golf isn’t about being perfect, it’s about enjoying the activity–and for many of us, getting better is a positive correlation with enjoyment. So to start off the year, get a piece of paper or a notes app and write down the following:
1. Three things you do well in disc golf.
2. Three things you want to improve, and know how to improve.
3. Three things you want to improve, but don’t yet know how to improve.
4. I will warm up properly every time I play.
Great! Keep those in a safe place. We’ll check back in on those at the end of the month, and I highly recommend monitoring or adjusting your goals throughout the year. Now go play the SHORTEST course nearby and try to hit the first ace of 2022!
