Gatekeeper Resolutions Day 8: Obstructed Putting Techniques

Day 8! Obstructed putts. Find a basket that has a low branch, or an obstacle right beside it. Something that means you can’t just lob in your default putting style. Put a marker down at a location that makes a more complex putting shape. Visualize how you want the disc to fly--changing plane, angle out of the hand, intermediate targets, how close it can get to the obstacle. Then try to match that visualization.

You “win” the game not when you make the putt, but when the flight of your disc begins to match your visualization. When it does, make the visualization more specific, or make the putt more demanding.
